- Description
- DFAL invests primarily in a broadly diversified portfolio of US large-cap companies across multiple sectors and may invest a limited portion of its assets in smaller US companies. Rather than tracking an index, the portfolio systematically emphasizes companies with lower relative prices and higher profitability while adjusting security weightings based on shorter-term factors, including price momentum. The fund may also increase, reduce, or exclude individual holdings as market conditions change. Equity futures may be used to manage cash flows, and securities lending may provide additional income. As an actively managed fund, DFAL may have a high degree of portfolio turnover.
