- LADM aims to roll the effects of a structured outcome strategy by investing in each of the Pacer Swan SOS Moderate ETFs. This laddered approach to the strategy aims to diversify the timing nature of the strategy. Each underlying ETF uses FLEX options to provide a buffer against the first 15% decline in the SPDR S&P 500 ETF (SPY) while foregoing upside participation above a specified level, and resets annually. Because LADM is buying the underlying ETFs before the end of the outcome period, investment returns may be quite different from those of the underlying ETFs. The funds website provides the proportion of the funds assets that is invested in each of the underlying ETF, however, this information is limited in outlining the potential risks and outcomes of pursuing the laddered approach.
