- MEIB aims to generate high income from the stock volatility of Meta Platforms Inc. (NASDAQ: META). The ETF uses swaps to track an index that systematically writes weekly, out-of-the-money call options on META, targeting a specific annualized distribution rate, distributed twice per month. MEIB adds a daily delta hedging strategy, which adjusts META exposure each trading day to offset the negative delta of the short call position. This approach is designed to allow participation in META's upside price movements. The option strike price selection process is formulaic and recalibrated weekly based on META's price and implied volatility. The strategy also includes an options unwind feature that may close an option position early if certain thresholds are met.
